Healing

Healing is the cornestone of our ministry and the New Thought movement.

At UC Truth, we believe in the power of Affirmative Prayer

What is an Affirmative Prayer?

Affirmation is the activity of establishing in mind the truth of god. It is a conscious effort to bring the truth of god into the awareness for the individual to act and respond from the truth. Affirmative prayer is the act of stimulating the inspiration with the growing awareness of oneness spirituality brings, while being involved in one’s day to day activities.

“You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.”
Job 22:28 (NKJV)

God of All Creation,

There is none besides You. As the One Source from which all that is True and Eternal originates, I give thanks for Your perfect life, love and wisdom at work within me here and now. Your life is my life and I affirm Its presence in me now. Every cell, muscle and organ of my being responds immediately as the One Life that You are pulsates and penetrates my being. I relax. I feel a rapid flow of pure life energy streaming through me. I accept that my healing is at hand. There can be no obstruction to this stream of life activity. Every cell in my body is responding to this healing word here and now. Every muscle is responding, right now. Every fiber and tissue is responding, right now. Every nerve and organ is responding right now. There is a mighty rush of healing power, love and grace washing over me, cleansing me and I am made whole in every way.

This healing stream has re-adjusted, re-ordered, re-built, and re-energized me. I am so grateful. Completely relaxed, I am confident that healing is my birthright. I claim it and know that it overrides any other suggestion made to me. By the life force that created me in the beginning and shaped me even as I was in my mother’s womb, I declare that this same power has perfected all that concerns me. I am healed. Because healing is my birthright, I boldly declare: I AM Healed. I AM Healed. I AM Healed.

It is so.

Amen and Amen.

Written by Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen

God is my help in every need;
God does my every hunger feed;
God walks beside me, guides my way
Through every moment of this day.

I now am wise, I now am true,
Patient and kind, and loving, too;
All things I am, can do, and be,
Through Christ the Truth, that is in me.

God is my health, I can’t be sick;
God is my strength, unfailing, quick;
God is my all, I know no fear,
Since God and Love and Truth are here.

The Light of God surrounds me.
The Love of God enfolds me.
The Power of God protects me.
The Presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I am, God is!
And all is well.
And So It Is!
