Building A Strong Foundation of Truth

Christmas Term of Classes and Workshops
(October 25 - December 17, 2021)

Fellow Students of Truth,

It’s the last quarter of 2021 and already some people are thinking and planning ahead to 2022. Are you one of those still trying to “get it done in 2021?” In this judgment-free space, it doesn’t matter where you are in your personal consciousness building programme. What we know for sure is that wherever you are in your spiritual journey, the more firmly grounded in the Truth of the universal spiritual principles we espouse as a member church of UFBL, the more successful you will navigate the ups and downs of life.

And as such, our theme for this term is “Building A Solid Foundation of Truth.”

Speaking about foundation Jesus said:

“…everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

(Matthew 7:24-27 NIV)

Take note of the keywords: foundation practice.

The Fable of the Three Little Pigs also reiterates this: only the pig whose house was built of bricks, sustained the blowing of The Big Bad Wolf. Metaphorically, we will encounter heavy rains and big, bad wolves that threaten us. But when our consciousness is built on the rock of Truth, we have nothing to fear. Let’s build strong ‘houses’ this term.

If you have a need that has not been met, let us know and we will be happy to address it.

Classes are held on zoom for your convenience. You will be given the relevant link when you register.

Happy studying!
