Deuteronomy 8:18 (The Message Bible)

‘If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth…’

Introductory Remarks:

Life is not a ‘Solo Act’. You were built to partner with the Creator by embracing your spiritual nature so that you may fulfill God’s plan for your life. See Jeremiah 29:11.

When you live from your spiritual nature and not contrary or separate from it, you thrive rather than struggle; you prosper, rather than suffer. 

Major Points of the Lesson:

  1. All there is and ever will be, as a permanent reality, comes from God. Since you originate from God, all that God is/has belongs to you as your spiritual inheritance. Are you available for it? Are you ready to access it?  
  1. It is through the Law of Giving and Receiving that you access your inheritance. Tithing of your time, talent and money substance, is a way to partner with God and engage the law:
    1. Give up the false for the TRUE! (Repent)
    2. Give It. You’ve got it. (Mindset)
    3. Give It to the Rightful Owner. (Acknowledge)
    4. Give First. Receive Second. (Order)
    5. Give Consistently. (Frequency)
    6. Give Cheerfully. (Attitude)
    7. Give Thanks. (Maturity)

“Whatever your tithe [or gift] is, give it to God; and then as you give, so God gives back to you…You cannot outgive God. You cannot. [God’s] able to bring to you everything you need and a whole lot of things you don’t even know you need.”
