Lessons From Eagles

Scripture Reading

“…[T]hose who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will fly up on wings like eagles; they will run and not be tired; they will walk and not be weary.”
Isaiah 40:31 (CEB)

Introductory Remarks

Life is a classroom of lessons that prepares us to live purposefully.

As children, we learn through examples, stories, and daily choices, that are hopefully guided by God’s Omnipresent wisdom. This wisdom manifests as instinct in eagles and intuition in humans. By heeding this guidance, we are prepared to fully live our purpose. Others, especially children, are inspired to do the same.

Major Points of the Lesson

  • Know who you are.

  • Choose wisely and repeatedly.

  • Prepare for what you have chosen.

  • Receive what you prepare for and expect.

Quote

“If one asks for success and prepares for failure, he [or she] will get the situation he has prepared for.”
– Florence Scovill Shinn, Game of Life and How to Play It
