Scripture Reading

God saved us and chose us to be his holy people, but not because of anything we ourselves did. God saved us and made us his people because that was what he wanted and because of his grace. That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time began.

2 Timothy 1:9 (ERV)

Introductory Remarks:

Today, we celebrate as souls are acknowledged for their accomplishments in the area of spiritual studies. Our prayer is that they, like Jesus, remain open and available to the in-working and outworking of God’s grace that seeks to lead them in fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for their lives.

Major Points of the Lesson:

  1. In the face of every fear, God’s grace reminds us that  omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience are working in and through us. We are never separated from our good by God’s grace.  See Romans 8:38-39.
  1. Like Jesus, by grace we enter the Christ Consciousness, that is ever available, demonstrating as goodwill, favour, and a merciful disposition. By grace, we are saved from fear and peril. See Ephesians 2:4-5.

Quote:

“The grace of God extends to all people, not alone to one sect or creed. All [persons] are equal in favour with God.”
