 “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Introductory Remarks: 

We have been taught by Jesus to have life and have it more abundantly and that includes experiencing happiness consistently in every area of our life – spiritually, emotionally, physically, relationally, socially, vocationally and financially. AIF 2024 under the theme 360 Degrees of Happiness is designed to teach us how to plant, cultivate, reap and consistently enjoy the fruits of happiness in every area so that we can update our understanding of the Jamaican proverb to: ‘Chicken merry…. And hawk belly full!’

Major Points of the Lesson:

  1. Positioning – Assess where you currently are before you begin the journey and be honest with yourself.
  2. Powerful – Always ask yourself empowering questions.
  3. Pioneer – Decide that you are ready for a new experience 
  4. Persistent – Discipline yourself to stay the course
  5. Prophesy – Be willing to stretch yourself to see and be more:
    1. SPIRITUALLY – Have a Prayerful Perspective Yourself
    2. MENTALLY/EMOTIONALLY – Have a Peaceful Perspective Yourself 
    3. PHYSICALLY – Have a Productive Perspective Yourself
    4. RELATIONALLY – Have a Purposeful Perspective Yourself
    5. SOCIALLY – Have a People Perspective Yourself
    6. VOCATIONALLY – Have a Passionate Perspective Yourself
    7. FINANCIALLY – Have a Prosperous Perspective Yourself

Use your 360 Degrees of Happiness AIF Journal to document where you are on your Journey to a happier life and what commitments you are willing to make to yourself for the journey. Decide on a partner that you would like to take the journey with and how you would like that partnership to look.
