“In the crowd was a woman who had been sick for twelve years with a hemorrhage. She had suffered much from many doctors through the years and had become poor from paying them, and was no better but, in fact, was worse. She had heard all about the wonderful miracles Jesus did, and that is why she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his clothes. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his clothing, I will be healed.” And sure enough, as soon as she had touched him, the bleeding stopped and she knew she was well! Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” His disciples said to him, “All this crowd pressing around you, and you ask who touched you?” But he kept on looking around to see who it was who had done it. Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and told him what she had done. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, healed of your disease.”
– Mark 5:22-34 (TLB)
Jesus spent 40 days after his resurrection furthering his spiritual growth in order for the ascension (attainment of Christ consciousness) to take place. We too have more spiritual manoeuvres to make to move from being positioned for healing into the consciousness that allows healing to occur.
“Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 KJV
Desire to be healed + Prayer + Belief that prayer is answered = Healing.
“It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that [God] exists and that [God] cares enough to respond to those who seek [God]. Hebrews 11:6 (MSG)
We must know more about God than we know about our condition!
The healing position is an inward one!
God gives us what we ask for upon approach. Nothing is withheld.
“Spiritual healing occurs as we begin to consciously reconnect with our essential being – the wise, loving powerful, creative entity that we are at the core.”
