God’s Healing Benefits For You!
Scripture: “Bless the Lord, O my soul and do not forget all his benefits…’ Psalm 103:2-4 (NRSV)
Affirm: I believe God’s healing benefits are available to me right now. I claim them. I accept them.
Dear Prosperity Partners and Friends,
Blessings of peace, love, and plenty to you! Throughout the month of June we will celebrate the Universal Foundation for Better Living (UFBL) as June 14th marks its 48th Anniversary. You are a part of that celebration for without you, and people like you around the globe, there would be no UFBL. Thank you for your untiring support
of UFBL, UC Truth –its local ministry in Jamaica– and the overall UFBL program of classes, publications, ministries, events, and projects.
The theme for our celebration is, ‘UFBL: Unapologetically Sharing the Good News.’ Last Sunday’s less was titled, God’s Healing Benefits for YOU! In the lesson we agreed that healing takes many forms: Peace of mind; healing in our body; cooperation in our relationships; abundance in our finances and so much more.
Here are the Major Points that were shared:
- Healing is wholeness.
Healing begins with the clearing away of false beliefs that have been lodged in mind, either consciously or unconsciously, and now form our belief system. Once the false beliefs are removed, the inherent harmony that is our spiritual birthright flows without obstruction. ‘Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.’ Romans 12:2
- 2. We experience God’s healing benefits when we accept God’s will for us and: a) Activate God’s forgiving love that frees. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.’ Matthew 6:12
- b) Accept God’s healing presence in every matter. ‘Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?’ Psalm 139:7
- c) Rely on God’s redeeming power that makes all things possible. ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you… you are mine.’ Isaiah 43:1
- To accept God’s will in every circumstance is to be crowned with authority and dominion while remaining steadfast in compassionate love and mercy.
Ponder this: ‘If we spend more time praising and thanking God for his daily benefits and blessings and all the good things [bestowed upon us], there wouldn’t be time to blame, complain, cry and moan about [the other stuff].’ P. Smith
Let’s Pray: Dear God, Thank You for Your healing power ever active amidst my life and affairs. It makes all things new. It lifts me up. It heals me. It sees me through the midnight hour. It shows me the way to life everlasting and peace without end. With a grateful heart, I give thanks. Amen.
