Forgive Continually – Trigger Blessings Perpetually!

Scripture:
“…Lord, if my brother or sister sins against me, how often should I  forgive? As many as seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘Not seven times, but, I tell  you, seventy-seven times.’ Matthew 18:21-22 (NRSVUE)

Affirm:
I am open to a continuous flow of blessings because I freely and willingly  forgive everything and everyone.

Dear Prosperity Partners and Friends,

February, the month of LOVE, is here. Are you feeling and experiencing God’s love that surrounds, enfolds, and blesses you? Every day, wear or carry something pink to remind yourself that Love is the great harmonizer in your life. Let love heal, bless, and prosper you beyond your wildest imaginings.

On Sunday, we began a new series titled: Forgive Us Our Debts. The lesson, Forgive Continually – Trigger Blessings Perpetually, blessed many, as evidenced by your comments and sharing. Thanks so very much for the work that you are willing to do with you, as you step out of the shadows of unforgiveness and into the light of Love and Forgiveness. I am supporting you in prayer as you cleanse, heal, and give yourself permission to shine brilliantly.

These lessons are good for our soul. Please share them with someone and invite them to take this journey of forgiveness with you. What a great way for us all to cleanse as we head into the season of Lent.

Here are the major points from Sunday’s lesson:

Major Points:

  1. True forgiveness is more about you than your situation.

Forgiveness offers you an opportunity to release pent-up toxic energy in exchange for the freeing energy of Christ. Only you can choose to give up or exchange the toxic hate for the life freeing energy of love. Will you do it?

  1. ‘Forgiveness is more than an action, it is an attitude’ – Dr. Mary Tumpkin.

Forgiveness requires that you be willing to ‘acknowledge the presence of God [Good] in every person and situation – even when it is not readily apparent.’ Dr. Mary Tumpkin, Before You Pray – Forgive.

  1. ‘When [you] hold on to past hurts and perceived offences, [you] create a blockage in consciousness that keeps [your] good from flowing…’ Dr.  Mary Tumpkin.

This means that you are blocking the flow of blessings that God has for you. You must get out of the way and clear the way through forgiveness. Are you willing to do this?

  1. ‘Jesus taught that we have the power to rid ourselves of the harmful effects of sin [missing the mark of perfection] by practising forgiveness…’ Dr. Mary Tumpkin.

There is no set number on the instances in which you forgive. You forgive or exchange the toxic for the life affirming as often as you feel the need to. This requires that you be honest with yourself. No one knows the depth of your toxic emotions, but you. You must decide how many doses of forgiveness your soul needs.

Quotes to Ponder:

‘The act of release frees you from tightness, tension or grasping…[It] helps you to become an open, receptive channel through which…[God] can flow to you to cleanse your life of worn-out relationships and conditions and make way for your new, expanded good.

Dr. Mary Tumpkin’s, Before You Pray Forgive, quoting Catherine Ponder, Open Your Mind to Receive.

Let’s Pray:

God of Creation,

I give thanks for the courage to look within the depths of my soul and ask that YOU help me to release all that stands in the way of the blessings You have bestowed upon me. If I am knowingly or unknowingly holding anyone in bondage, show me how to release them so that I can be released to experience the life that You have planned for me. I am willing to release, right now, and to let go. With Your help, I know it is done.

Amen.
