Freedom Looks Better On You. A Better Living Lesson
Scripture Reading: John 8:31–36 (ESV)
“‘And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ They answered him, ‘We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
Introductory Remarks:
Whenever we allow fear, resentment, unforgiveness, prejudice, malice, ‘bad mind’, shame, or any limiting belief to govern our lives, we surrender our freedom to those very things. Additionally, whenever we hold others captive in our minds with judgment, resentment, or unrealistic expectations, we also keep ourselves chained. Anything that controls us has the power to confine us.
The good news is that freedom is possible now. It is our divine inheritance, our spiritual identity, and our daily responsibility. Everyone was born to live from the liberty of Spirit - with inherent dignity, divine worth, and limitless possibility, deserving and capable of better living. Freedom looks better on you. Today, let us embrace freedom in three transformative ways:

- Point #1: Freedom is mine. I free myself from every thought, belief, attitude, and action that keeps me bound.
- Point #2: Freedom is yours. I free others from my judgments, expectations, and limitations so they may freely express their God-given dignity, divine worth, and freedom.
- Point #3: Freedom is a daily choice and practice. Every day, I choose thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, actions, and reactions that reflect the liberty of Spirit.
