Faith To Reimagine Your Life
Scripture Reading
I Cor. 2:9 (NRSVUE)
“But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him’—” No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it—What God has arranged for those who love him.
Introductory Remarks:
Today we’re working Faith through the power of our re-imagination. Not pretending. Not denying reality. Re-imagination is the spiritual skill of taking a faith-idea and shaping it into a clear inner picture - until your mind agrees with God’s good, and your life starts to follow your agreement.
Many people want change, but they keep rehearsing the old story. They keep feeding the same inner conversations. And then they wonder why the results repeat.
So here’s our big Truth for today: you can re-image your life - no matter what your experiences have been - because faith is not trapped in your past. Faith is a creative power operating right now.
Major Points of the Lesson:
Imagination is faith giving your desire a form.
You can re-image anytime - your past does not get veto power.
Without a clear image, your desires become hit-or-miss
Don’t get hypnotized by the five senses.
Worry is misused faith + misused imagination.
Inner speech is the artist of imagination.
Stop spending your life - start investing it.
Quote:
“Your senses report the current version. Faith looks to the next version. Re-imagination is how you rehearse that next version daily until it feels natural - and becomes your new normal.” C. B. Wilson 2026.
ASSIGNMENT:
The Re-Imagine Practice
Define the image: Write one sentence:
“My desired outcome is: ____________.”See it: Close your eyes and build a short “mental scene” as if it’s done. Keep it simple: one moment, one emotion, one result.
Speak FROM it (not “of”): Say 3 statements that match the fulfilled desire.
Audit spending vs investing:
Ask yourself:
“What did I spend today?” (time, money, inner talk)
“What will I invest tomorrow?”
